Court Transcripts

Transcripts of Court Hearings and Trials

The short answer

We prepare certified transcripts of hearings and trials for circuit, superior, district, and bankruptcy courts nationwide. Give us the case information and we request the audio from the court, transcribe it, proof it, and deliver a certified, searchable PDF on the turnaround you choose.

Motions, bench trials, jury trials, status conferences, injunction hearings: if it happened on the record, we can put it on the page. Courts increasingly capture proceedings with digital audio systems, and a certified transcript of that audio is what you file, cite, and mark up.

Since 2013 we have transcribed proceedings from a single ten-minute status conference to multi-week trials, for attorneys, courts, court reporters, and self-represented parties.

From short motions to multi-week trials

A short hearing is usually a quick job: we confirm the audio length, quote from your county or court rate, and turn it fast. Trials are a different discipline. Days of testimony mean managing witness lists, exhibits, spelling sheets, and consistent formatting across volumes. We assign trial work with that in mind, and our proofreading pass covers consistency across the whole record, not just page by page.

Every transcript is verbatim. What was said in the room is what appears on the page, without interpretation or editing. That standard matters when a single word difference gets argued in a motion.

Which courts we cover

We serve state trial courts, including circuit and superior courts, plus federal district and bankruptcy courts. We hold approved provider status in more than 30 U.S. Bankruptcy Courts and are an approved vendor in multiple U.S. District Courts, including districts in California, Texas, and Louisiana. For state courts, we work from your jurisdiction's transcript format and your county's rate structure.

If you are not sure which court's rules apply or what the audio situation is, send us what you have. We sort that out for clients every week.

FAQ

Questions we hear

How many pages will my hearing be?

One hour of audio generally produces about 45 transcript pages. Our estimator on this site turns your audio minutes and page rate into an instant estimate.

Can you transcribe a remote or Zoom hearing?

Yes. Remote proceedings are recorded like any other hearing, and we transcribe those recordings routinely.

Do you do daily copy for trials?

We offer same-day and next-day turnarounds. For a running trial, talk to us in advance so we can schedule the team to deliver each day's proceedings on time.

What if the audio quality is poor?

Experienced legal transcribers, good equipment, and careful review get the most from difficult audio. Genuinely inaudible passages are marked to the court's convention, never guessed at.
