How transcript pricing works
Court transcripts are priced by the page, not by the hour. One hour of recorded proceedings generally produces about 45 pages, so the length of your hearing drives the cost more than anything else. The second driver is turnaround: same-day and expedited tiers carry higher page rates than standard 30-day delivery.
Rates themselves vary by jurisdiction. Federal courts cap transcript rates by tier, and state and county courts set their own. That is why this tool asks for your rate rather than assuming one; put in the rate that applies to your court and tier, and the estimate lands close to reality.
When you are ready for an exact number, place an order or call (855) 873-2223. We confirm the true audio length with the court and quote before beginning. No work starts until you have approved the cost.
